My husband was involved in a severe bike accident on November 14th, resulting in a crushed calcaneum (heel bone) and multiple dislocations in his foot. Robert Poulose2024-12-03I am very happy with Dr Chintan as he was very clear when he explained things to me about my knee injury. I had a ligament tear which needed to be operated and he also let me know the repercussions in case If had neglected the surgery which is very important cause we tend to neglect things sometimes thinking it will heal on its own however sometimes it cause more damage like in my case the meniscus was also damaged.
Arun Gupta2024-11-29My mom is 76 yrs old and both knees requires replacement. Dr Chintan Hegde’s name was referred by one of my friend. I called up Thunga and got Dr Chintan Hegde’s appointment within a week. A/P was on time. Dr Hegde was very warm and quickly assessed that the knee needs to be replaced. He suggested only 1 knee replacement and perform the other knee in 2-3 months. He gave his personal mobile number and aaked to call him when we are ready with the operation. I got my mom operated within a week. The surgery went fine and my mom is going to be discharged in 4 days. There is no swelling and hardly any pain as of now. Maybe due to pain medications. Given my mom is diabetic and cancer patient and quite fragile, the operation was a complete success. I will highly recommend Dr Chintan Hegde for knee replacement surgery!!
